There’s a bit of a disconnect that I’m finding with today’s family man.  You see what I’ve noticed is that we don’t identify ourselves as being dads.  As being fathers.  Deep down, we still consider ourselves a dude.

Be MORE Than Just a “Dude with Kids”…

Just a regular guyis is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

There are dudes with kids and then there are Dads.  I’m a dad. I married my high school sweetheart after we had our first child. I was 21-years-old.  Fast forward 15 years and 5 kids later (4 daughters and our youngest is the only boy) and we are a homeschooling, kettlebell swinging, hip hop listening, beach volleyball playing, bicycle riding, sustainable living family that only feels normal going against the grain. MY MISSION is to create a movement of physically & emotionally strong family men who don’t care about the “norm” and will do whatever it takes to be the HERO in their families.  Come hang out, and join the movement.
